Forming a healthy society

Saw this image in a site. I liked it very much. Cuty cuty one.

This image triggered another thought within me. I don't like kids playing with computer. We hardly see kids on roads these days. I still remember those days when my grandmother use to literally pull us into the house when we play on road. But these days kids just sit infront of television or play computer.

I think parents are to be blamed for this. As both parents are working these days, they try and give whatever kids ask for so that they can be free and relax. Instead they should encourage them to go out and play.

These days I am seeing lot of parks coming up in Chennai. Parents should make it a point to take their kids to such places. Only when kids move around with other kids and run around, they will stay active and we can form healthy society.
