Motta Boss or Mutta Goze

This is kind of funny, writing review after so many months after its release.

When I was in my morning walk this title just struck me. First of all no hard felling guys. These are just my opinion about the movie.

Just a day before the release all the channels kept flashin about "Rajini Mania" and "Big B vs Boss". Ofcourse its Rajini, Shankar, AVM, Rehman and Thotadharani combination. What else to expect. But felt it bit nauseating to see all channels giving importance to a movie.

I am a Kamal fan but still like to watch Rajini movies for its entertainment. When Sivaji got released I too wanted to watch this movie. But was shocked to hear that the tickets were sold for 2000 Rs. This increased my curiosity to see the movie. Finally got the tickets and went with office friends.

Boy!!! good feast for eyes. Extraordinary job by Thotadharani. AR Rehman music was good. However I did not like all the songs except two.

First half of the movie was sort of ok. Not so good. Did not like the way it was projected. It was neither Rajini's movie nor Shankar's. Felt too cheapo for Rajini. Always have seen him as super star and now suddenly in romantic mood n other stuff... Think did not suite him. Or I did not like him in that role.

Second half was good. It was fast and real Rajini masala stuff. Usual super star rocks. N finally motta boss was good. However I did not like that fight. Too unnatural. I don't expect logic in movies but this one is too much. Totala kadhula poo.

This movie really did not meet my expectations. May be cos of too much expectation. But something was seriously missing. This combination chemistry did not work out. Think it not match the promo given. Felt as though they could have done much better.

Whatever it is... Its a great movie of all Rajini fans and just another movie of others.
